In response to the devastation from Hurricane Katrina, The A.J. Weller Corporation has agreed to match all employee donations to the American Red Cross by 10 times. In addition to cash contributions, A.J. Weller has been working with state and local officials to arrange the hiring of displaced workers at their Shreveport, Louisiana plant.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the affected families of this disaster. The majority of our employees have personal ties to that part of the state and we will be doing everything we can as a responsible Louisiana Corporation to ease the suffering in Southern Louisiana”, stated by Jay Willhoite of The A.J.
